Problem

In today's healthcare landscape, mere trust is no longer sufficient; patients have become discerning perfectionists who expect a brand's image to mirror their own pursuit of excellence.

The task of not only deeply understanding clients' wishes and the intricate market landscape but also resonating with patients, while simultaneously crafting a compelling brand that can thrive amidst fierce competition, is an arduous yet indispensable undertaking.

Solution

Pivotal elements of the project encompass the development of an engaging logo and the creation of attention-grabbing banners to adorn the façade of the new clinic.

The primary goal of this project is to help Irena, a skilled plastic surgeon, expand her small startup plastic surgery practice into a recognised and successful clinic. This expansion aims to establish a strong brand presence in the market, differentiate her clinic from competitors, and ultimately attract a larger client base.

Client's Consultation

Following in-depth consultations with the client, the objective emerged to distinguish her clinic distinctly within the market while preserving its authenticity and deviating from conventional aesthetics. The client also expressed a personal preference for incorporating the colour red into the logo design.

I quickly recognized the significance of aligning the brand's aesthetics with the clinic's own visual identity; it needs to exude minimalism, sophistication, easy recognition, and a genuine sense of authenticity.

Through the amalgamation of user data and negotiations with the client, I formulated solutions that encapsulated the essential components for both the logo and banners. This culminated in the creation of an affinity map, illustrating the comprehensive realisation of the project.

Subsequently, a video was crafted to further enhance the project's clarity, as the preliminary images were not initially available in my possession.

She offered me a preliminary glimpse into the upcoming interior design scheme, affording me a tangible foresight into the realization of the branding concept. This preview proved instrumental in allowing me to better visualise and comprehend the prospective ambiance and aesthetics of the project.

Banner Execution

As previously mentioned, the naming challenge was a significant consideration, given the client's indecision. To address this, I presented her with a range of potential solutions to choose from.

Given the dark facade of the clinic's location, I created mock-ups to assist the client in visualising how the banners would appear in that setting. This allowed her to gain a clearer understanding of the banner's aesthetics and its impact on the overall ambiance.

Following additional discussions, the client ultimately settled on the final design. With the design chosen, the transition from concept to reality was a matter of time until the creation and realisation of the branding in the physical space.

Reflection

Embarking on this project for the client was a source of genuine delight, and witnessing my creative concepts manifest into tangible reality brought me immense joy. Observing the happiness radiating from my client and the satisfaction of her future patrons, which will inevitably attract a broader clientele, was truly rewarding and reinforced the meaningful impact of my work.
